Chatham-Kent Energy says residents managed to save more than 57 thousand kilowatts of electricity during Earth Hour this past weekend

Matthew Meloche Conservation and Distribution officer with utility company says people in the municipality weren’t as involved as the rest of the province.  Between 850 and 1400 Chatham-Kent Energy customers participated in Earth Hour and saved enough power to run five homes for a full year.
