AC/DC – Highway to Hell (long live Bon Scott)

Alice In Chains – Dirt (dark, foreboding, resurrecting Sabbath)

Iron Maiden – Piece of Mind (Maiden Rules)

Metallica – Ride the Lightning (tough choice btwn this and Master of Puppets)

Rush – Moving Pictures (best first side in rock n roll history)

Black Sabbath – Heaven and Hell (Dio is a friggin legend)

Slayer – Reign in Blood (there is NOTHING faster or more intense)

Soundgarden – Badmotorfinger (try listening to Jesus Christ Pose cranked up to 11…it’s spiritual)

Tool – Aenima (Maynard is a freak, the band is progressive, and the soundscapes are dark)

Van Halen – Van Halen (changed rock n roll)

The Who – Who’s Next (thee classic rock classic)
