It`ll be a bit smaller than it would have been and it`ll be next to a construction site, but Summerfest will be downtown.

The Windsor Parade Corporation has reached a compromise with the Downtown Windsor BIA to locate the midway just west of construction on the riverfront.  The BIA is kicking in 10-thousand dollars.  Today`s announcement comes after a series of threatening and harassing emails and phone calls attacking Parade Corporation head Maggie Durocher.  Mayor Eddie Francis calls that unfortunate.
