C-K Nabs Third Place For Emergency Planning

Residents in Chatham-Kent are some of the most prepared for emergencies in the province. The municipality has landed the third spot in an online contest by Emergency Management Ontario. The survey asked residents to answer questions about personal and family emergency planning. Kingston earned first place, followed by Guelph. Wallaceburg resident Barbara Roe earned an individual prize for taking part in the survey, a Cineplex Movie Package. Mayor Randy Hope says Chatham-Kent residents are practical people who believe in planning.
