The Opposition is calling on the Ontario government to apologize to a woman whose breast was removed under the mistaken belief she had cancer.

Laurie Johnston is suing her surgeon, pathologist and two hospitals in the Windsor area over the mistake, which she says has impeded her ability to work.

Conservative health critic Christine Elliott says Johnston deserves an apology from the health bureaucracy and the government.
