Windsor native and former NHL forward Bob Probert is dead at 45.

His father-in-law Dan Parkinson addressed the media yesterday following Probert’s death.

He says Probert was on his boat in Lake St. Clair with his family when he suddenly collapsed.

Parkinson performed CPR but was unable to revive him.

Probert was transported to Windsor Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No funeral arrangements have been announced.
