Students and parents got their first look at the new Dr. David Suzuki Public School in Windsor.

An open house was held last night at the school located in the Riverside area.

The school is one of the most environmentally friendly schools in the country — it has geothermal heating, a green roof, wind turbines and solar panels.

It’s expected to house over 500 students when it opens in September.
