The Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres is expanding to Walpole Island. The team is now operating through a partnership with the Walpole Island Health Centre. Executive Director Kristen Williams says the community has access to primary care for the first time, with the addition of a nurse practitioner. Williams says the health centres will expand to Wallaceburg next, with a physician expected to cover both sites.
