A total of half a million dollars in new equipment will be announced for both the Chatham and Sydenham hospital campuses over the next few months. The money coming from recent fundraising efforts of the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Executive Director Michele Grzebien says there are a number of items on the list rated as a priority, that aren’t focused on during major drives like the MR campaign. Grzebien says the foundation will be announcing the purchase of each item as it arrives so people can see how the money they donated is being spent.
