A pair of organizations in Windsor-Essex are joining forces to keep poverty top of mind, in the fall election.
Voices Against Poverty and Pathway to Potential launched a new website today, pathwaytopotential.ca/voices-against-poverty. Pathway Director Adam Vasey calls it an important tool to keep people informed.
“Videos will be posted and there are also some audio interviews as well with people who are experiencing poverty. And thereĀ is some myth busting as well that takes place on the website. So there are a range of resources and links to other resources on the page that will hopefully really start to get people thinking about.”
Vasey says new features will be added to the site every Tuesday, leading-up to the October 6th vote.
Both Voices Against Poverty and Pathway to Potential are non-partisan organizations.
