Advanced Basement Systems has chosen a Windsor family for its annual Pay It Forward basement renovation.

Homeowner Debbie Devereaux says the Chatham company’s annual free renovation at her house is dealing with a with an unpaved basement that was leaky and possibly had mould.

 ”There was a plywood floor and the wood would of course absorb the water and create perhaps some mould and mildew,” she says.

Devereaux says the family had decided to put off fixing the leaks and sealing the floor when the company offered to do the work for free as it gives back to the community.
