Windsor police have a suspect in custody after a 73 year old man was beaten and robbed in the washroom of a west-end strip club.

The elderly man says he was pushed to the floor and kicked repeatedly by a younger man who then stole his wallet, some cash and his cigarettes.  He suffered a minor abrasion on the top of his head and didn’t need medical attention.

Police caught up with a suspect about 45 minutes later on Giles Boulevard at Marion Street.  A quick search turned up not only the cigarettes and the cash, but some crack cocaine and marijuana as well.

Now 18 year old Nicholas McCullough is charged with robbery, possession of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
