The Ford Fusion has been awarded Best in Show at the North American International Auto Show.
Ford spokesperson, and Leamington native, John Jraiche says the honour is courtesy editorial staff for the publication Autoweek.
“You know it just exemplifies how we’re going further with our design. We’re just humbled by the initial awards and hopefully this is the first of many,” Jraiche told Blackburn News. “It just reinforces that we’re on track starting with the Fiesta, the Focus and now the Fusion in terms of our product offerings for our customers.”
The Best in Show selection is based on the theory that it’s the car people will remember most five years from now. Ford has made a huge turnaround since 2006, when it lost $12.6-billion.
