Vandals Hit Puce Homes

Provincial Police in Lakeshore are on the look-out for vandals.

Sometime between 12 and 6am yesterday, four homes in the 400 block of West Puce Road sustained property damage.

200-feet of white paint was found on a driveway, while three other homes were hit with a tar like substance, that was also spread on some windows.

The OPP Forensic Identification Unit has collected evidence found at the scene. Anyone with additional information is asked to call police.

Expensive Paint Stolen

Some very expensive paint is missing from a business in Blenheim.

11 pails of green and yellow paint, valued at a total of $16,000, were taken from a property on George Street.

That puts the cost per gallon at nearly $300.

Police suspect the paint was taken sometime over the weekend.

Blatant vandalism

Windsor police have charged one youth and three men with mischief after a factory wall was spray painted on the city’s east side.

Police say the suspects were blatant in that they scaled the fence to the Ford Nemak Plant before the sun set early last night. Security guards called authorities who arrived to catch the suspects in the act. Officers seized paint cans, rollers, extension polls and two digital cameras. The suspects will answer to the charge in court in May.
